Accessories Screen Protector / Invisible Shield?

Just ordered a ZAGG shield- always can do a return 45 days after iirc.

What made me pull the trigger was the 20% off coupon that another member here posted.

Just called Phantom Skinz and they don't have the template drawn up yet. They're going to wait until launch day, when hopefully they can have someone bring in their phone. The guy said they'll ship out Friday or Monday after. It'll be about a week before it gets delivered. Do phones get scratches that quickly?

If I were to buy that 3-pack from Verizon (assuming it's available at launch), I'd probably just wait until SGP gets their crap together.

I went ahead and ordered one ($10 with free shipping). I figure and can borrow a screen shield from my wife's BB Storm to get me by for a few days.

thing is the wording on that site made it sound like you were pre-ordering the protector with no solid release date for it.
 
I got a 50% off coupon so i;m going to order an Invisible shield, but i will order other better non sticky screen protectors when they come out

It says right on the info for the product:

"This product is available for pre-order only and will begin shipping once the device is released."
 
Which would you all suggest, the Phantom Skinz or the ZAGG Invisible Shield? And I see that the Phantom Skinz's website states that it's pre-order and will ship upon product release, but the ZAGG does not. Does that mean they will ship you the ZAGG early?
 
as far as full body shielding.....when I first got my tour, which has a sort of soft touch area on the back around the battery, I put full body shield on it, but I took it off almost the same day because the cover over the soft touch part looked fugly. it just took away from the whole look of the device, made it look almost like patent leather...was not a fan. I am sure it protected it well and there were no sticking issues on the material, but I thought it looked bad. take it for what its worth...
 
I just plan on using Verizon's screen protector until the first of boxwave, steinheil, or phantom skins comes out. i can deal with the vzw protector for a week. Anything but that Zagg tacky skin.

 
I placed my Zagg order yesterday - and it's still being processed. So not sure if they will ship before release, will update if anything changes.
 
I've had an invisable shield on my touch since I got it.

Just ordered it for the incredible.

The fact you can run the teeth of a key over it and it doesn't leave a permanant mark is proof enough for me.
 
Good news for those looking for Screen Protectors other than Zagg.

Previous emails to SGP for their Steinheil screen protectors yielded uncertainty. But today I received this:

Just thought I would post the response I got from SGPStore.com, i had read another response that sounded more like they did not intend to make them, so in case anyone was wondering about it, here's what they told me:

As soon as the HTC Droid Incredible release to the market, we will sell the protection film and shield on our website.

haha sweeeet! enough of us emailed them asking about the product!! im sooo excited! way to go guys. i will definitely be getting mine from SGP. woohoo
 
yup yup, my first choice is SGP, second choice is phantom skinz. want something that will protect but not mess with the resolution of my beautiful amoled screen :) one nice thing is that it looks like the SGP screens are easier to put on than the phantom skinz. nice screen protector paired with a nice seido innocase II surface case will make me a happy incredible owner :)

hm, zagg might be better than phantom skinz.. those two are really close. SGP just uses a different method I believe. in fact, some people really dont like SGP. its a preference thing. All I know is phantom/zagg dont offer the clarity of SGPs crystal clear. For that reason, I'm going with SGP for now.
