Screen Protector Trick

I just got my SGP Steinheil Crystal Clear Screen protecter in the mail today. As I was applying it I noticed that the little circular cutout for the optical trackpad is nearly perfectly sized for the camera lens! No more complaining about the lens getting scratched when you set it down!

I noticed this too....even with a case it seems as though the camera lens cover sticks out too much and can easily get scratched if you slide it across the table...I wonder if there is a way to protect that...

My HTC silicone case has it recessed. It doesn't touch when the phone is laid on its back, and it's definitely not sliding.

I tried this when i saw how far out the camera lens was. I cut out a piece of screen protector and put it on. It went on perfectly. I took a picture and it was grainy and fuzzy. The screen protector looked pretty clear to me.

Yeah, it distorts the images a good bit using this method.

weird, I noticed no difference when I have the CC cutout on the camera lens. Looks as just as clear as if nothing was on it.
