Accessories Screen protector?

I just purchased a screen protector from the mall and it definitely took some of the clarity away from the picture. Anyone else have this problem and if not which protector are you using?

Also if I remove the protector will it leave the screen sticky?

I highly recommend this: REALOOK Sprint Samsung Epic 4G AFP Screen Protector 2PK - eBay (item 250690710223 end time Dec-29-10 23:14:00 PST)

It's absolutely perfectly cut, clear as the original screen, and super easy to install. It's well worth the $10.99, and shipping is super fast. Good luck!

Got it, thanks!

Why? Our phone has gorrilla glass...no point in getting any screen protector.

Please tell me you're joking?

And to the OP, yeah some screen protectors reduce clarity, some don't. Matte and Anti-Fingerprint ones tend to do so the most. I've had luck with Crystal Clear's from Phantom Skinz and Realooks.

I thought the same as you but as of 2 days ago......I have a damn hair line scratch right in the damn middle of my screen. I am PISSED!!!!!! So please don't go around misinforming people because I will bet you money that you will get scratch marks eventually without a screen protector.

Does anyone know if there is any type of scratch remover chemical or something to use for removal of hair line scratches??

Real look as mentioned is the product to get. Fantastic product. Clarity is the same as without the protector, screen sensitivity is the same, it has a perfect fit for the phone AND if you have to take it off for some reason, it leaves no sticky residue. Just follow the directions to install and you'll be good to go :)

Picked up my epic 5 days ago and using the seidio screen protector. Got a 2 pack for 12 bucks on amazon. Clear plastic and if put on correctly, fits perfectly and no glare issues. Well worth the money.

Gorilla Glass may be tough to break and seriously impair with a scratch, however, it can sustain superficial scratches relatively easily. Safe to say, even treating it like a wax baby, you will end up getting a hairline scratch somewhere on the screen eventually. Of course, that cannot be easily remedied. If you simply buy a screen protector you won't ever get a scratch on your $600 phone and depending on what kind you use, it reduces fingerprints, grease, and has a better touch.

I use the Steinheil Ultra Crystal Clear. It applies 98721983798x easier than those overrated Phantom Skins, which have all sorts of visual problems as well. If you take about 10min to make sure no dust is anywhere near you and you get that Steinheil on there, it looks amazing with no rainbow effect or ripples, just a perfect unnoticeable finish!
