screen protector

Hey, I was looking for some screen protectors on Ebay, and noticed that all the ones they sold covered the entire front. The verizon one only covers the touch screen part. I don't want to buy one that covers the entire front because I don't want it covering the sensors because I have experienced what it can do. So my question is can someone give me a link to good screen protectors??? I do not like verizon's anti glare ones because my screen looks like its been smudged with grease, but its just the screen protector. Thanks!

Check with a different Verizon store, ours have both the anti-glare and the clear. The clear ones are as smooth as the glass itself, I really like em.

A good question. I normally use (and like) a full screen cover. I noticed on the Bioninc though that even a clear (Best Skins Ever) skin over the proximity sensor caused it to fail. I thought my phone was broken until I removed that portion of the skin.

I nornally also use Steinheil protectors from SGPstore.com but since they have no picture of the skin itslelf I instead ordered a 2-pack from Seidio.

Interesting still to me. Something unique about this sensor. Regardless, don't cover it up-with anything!

FWIW, the Zagg Invisishield full-screen protectors have cutouts for the speaker, the sensor, the LED and the front-facing camera.

yes, i use the Steinheil Ultra Clear on my Bionic, it covers the whole screen but includes cutouts for the camera, ear piece, and proximity sensor. it is amazingly clear and feels just like the naked screen, no dullness or resistance like the one that Verizon sells. i highly recommend it.

To chime in I got the clear one from a real verizon store, not the "authorized dealers" and it looks like glass on there. I did have the anti glare one on my Droid X and never realized how bad it looked. The clear one looks great and feels like my finger is sliding on lubed glass.
