Screen Protectors, Who uses them?

i got my screen protector from xo skins today. Was pretty easy to install and seems to look really nice on my samsung galaxy s 3. My rrommate has the same one and he said they are a good brand so i decided to try them out. No problems

I'm crap at installing them, so my dad helped me. Although, after a while curiosity got the better of me and I started picking at it,big mistakes, bubble were all over it. So yeah, I don't use one anymore...

When I used screen protectors, I found that the ones requiring liquid for installation were the easiest to install.

@spike

There will definitely be more use of screen protectors in the future. Even a car's tough windows which I believe are similar to the gorilla class can get scratches. Same principles apply.. I wouldn't want my car to get scratched although I can't put a protector on it.. so I can at least do that with my device ;]

This sounds like a future episode of Myth Busters. Have 2 cars drive behind a truck that has pebbles/sand/dirt slowly coming from the back of it. Cover one of the cars windshield w/ a giant ZAGG screen protector & leave the other cars windshield naked. Would be cool to see just how much less damage the cars windshield w/ the ZAGG would have.

I have the Zagg protector on my old phone, but I don't like it that much. It protects the screen perfectly, but it's a bit sticky, and not as smooth as I hoped for when I bought it. Challenging to apply aswell... For my S3 I instead bought a cheap Chinese clear screen protector. Way easier to apply and practically invisible. No significant loss in touch sensitivity either!

Well, people with OCD will buy screen protectors forever, but the demand will decrease, as more people realize that it is not that easy to scratch Gorilla glass under normal use and reasonable precautions. My phone is everywhere with me and still no scratches without screen protector.

Besides scratch resistance another reason that a lot of people don't realize is that wet apply military grade protectors offer increased impact resistance when you drop your phone and to which Gorilla Glass is not immune to even inside of a case . As far as Zagg's are concerned I stopped using them back in my BlackBerry days, can't stand the orange peel and rubbery feel. There are better military grade solutions that are also cheaper. I currently use Stealth Shieldz and when I had my Triumph I had very good luck with Armor Suit protectors.

Definitely using screen protector! I will be reduced to a blubbering idiot if I found a scratch on my beautiful screen. Although I treat my phone pretty well, accidents happen and I would rather spend few bucks to protect my expensive phone than leave it to chance because I'm too lazy or cheap to buy one.

what brand/company is that by chance?

thanks for the link. those are really cheap. Might have to get an extra one just to have handy at that price why not....

Yeah I totally agree with this. Plus they really are not expensive and definitely worth the small amount of extra cash to help protect your phone.
Like wearing a condom....it helps keep you safe.....:D

I think they are a must as they offer more protection and don't cause any performance or aesthetic issues.

Ok you have to attach it carefully (dust, air bubbles).
yeah it isnt too hard though, you just have to be careful. A buddy of mine told me to do it in the bathroom and first turn the shower on hot water to steam up the room to get rid of all the dust. Helpful advice for me, then just use a card to get all the tiny air bubbles out. hope this helps

I passed on a new nexus phone all because the seller didn't invest on a cheap screen protector....they were willing to drop the price to an almost unbelievable price....but I couldn't get past the several scratches on the screen
