screen protectors

ive had a mts since it came out, and i hate switching screen protectors over and over, is the screen scratch proof? or at least scratch resistence? I read some where that its made out of "GORILLA GLASS", but not sure
Do you guys use your mts with or without a screen protector? Or any scratch proof protectors? THANKS in advance

yeah it's not Gorilla Glass but it is pretty good as far a scratch resistant. I took my "stock" one off after about a week (got it on 02 Jun 10) due to dust and such getting under the stock cover by the buttons and have yet to find a scratch on it. however I do keep a really soft lint free cloth for cleaning my screen multiple times a day (I hate having face oil on my screen)

I can't go without a screen protector.

I never seen a phone attract so many finger prints as this one.

I reluctantly threw down the nearly $20 for 2 screen protectors at TMobile stores, I put the first one on and it sucked it was unuseable within 2 weeks...

2nd screen protector went on perfectly, not a single bubble, and no lifted corners, and it looks brand new, I estimate this one will last me several months...

screen protectors r a must for me. when i got my slide i ordered a snap on case off ebay from hong kong, it came with 3 screenies (5bucks for everything and free shippong). anyway ive had it on since june. no lifting as of yet. and to be honest no1 knows i have a screen protector on until i tell them

since i got my phone in early august, i have not had a screen shield on my phone. it has survived my pockets, and my bedside table at night. it has very tiny scratched on it that cant be seen unless you put it under a light and look hard. the buttons however, are very scratched up. but i just got an invisible shield a few days ago. im going to put it on soon

i went for almost a year without a screen protector - no issues other than fingerprints constantly. and face oils...yuck. i bought an invisishield from Zagg and love it - only downside is that it covers the buttons too which makes it a little harder to push them.

Just an update, still on the same screen protector, it's slightly scratched up, but once again, no lifts at the ends and no bubbles, so I'm highly satisfied..!

Since we're updating here... I'm still using the Skinomi techSkin I applied when I got my Slide in July. I got the full body kit and the body sections had started to lift at the corners and were generally annoying so I took them off. The screen section is still good as new. I applied the same screen protector to my wife's Slide at the same time and her's started to peel at a corner a few months ago...
