Get xposed framework installed, at the play store there is G2TweaksBox. Its originally for the lg g2, but the volt has a lot of features that module offers, including screen record. There are others but imo the xposed framework allows the screen record to be native instead of an app.

experimental version is very stable and compatible.
the module i was referring to was actually GravityBox[kk], turns screen record to native option on power menu

Anyway, I just found another app... not only does it record WITH INTERNAL sound, it can stream and broadcast to it's associated Twitch-like service.

apologizes. once a working CM is built (truly difficult), i know i can build android 5.0 from source to fit our device.
