Screen repair...

Without getting into too much backstory here, there was my Samsung Galaxy S II, a drunken friend, and a cigar. For reals! Apparently got to close to the screen and, well, sizzle. Functionality is still intact, but now there's this annoying mark in the center of the screen that won't go away. Actually I suppose it's only really visible when the screen gets to dirty, greasy, or foggy. Any way to, I dunno, somehow fix that? Is there some sort of protective coating on the glass that burnt off? Yes, I'm going to kill my friend.

You could also try one of the many headlight repair kits ( don't however use the drill mounted applicator ) a micro fiber cloth and be gentle, I have used this a few times works pretty well on cds and dvds too
