Help Screen replacement fail :(

Ok so I replaced the destroyed screen of a Samsung Fascinate for a friend and now that the new screen is in and everything is back together it won't turn on.... If i plug it in the battery charging screen shows and if you slide your fingers over the home buttons they blink but I cant get it to boot up... any ideas?
 
Sounds like some way bricked. If the battery icon comes up then it seems like the screen is working. May get it into Download mode and try to odin a stock package to it
