Root screen rotation issue

i just flashed darky's rom v7.6 and pretty much the only issue of concern i'm running into is with the screen rotation in landscape. so whenever i turn on auto rotation period, the phone switches to landscape mode no matter how the phone is held. now this it self isn't an issue UNLESS i'm using an app which i need to be in landscape mode. also, i was trying to play asphalt 5 and no matter if auto rotation was turned on or off i couldn't play the game b/c well i tilting the phone was way WAY off......just wondering if anyone using darky's rom has this issue.....or if someone know how i can fix it possibly.

edit. also, my speakers don't fully work....if i plug in my headphones in just the right place i can get sound of the phone speakers....if i plug in the headphones in just another right place, i get sound through headphones.......kinda freaky

you just did a wrong flash, cos' this Darky 7.6 is only for i9000. the one for i897 is not yet out ...

try flashing a kernel compatible with captivate....u might get rid of lots of issue...is not then flash captivate version of it...which should be out by today....dev by yttr
