Help Screen Rotation Issue

LBI Guy

Newbie
Hey Guys....did a search, but did not find anything. Well I just got my new 32 gig model from the latest Woot deal. Excited but I find the screen keeps rotating clockwise(buy itself) even when laying flat. I can lock the rotation, but is there a way to calibrate it so this stops?

Thank you for any help.

I see no-one else has any suggestions for you.

There's no calibration that a I'm aware of. My suggestions would be to make sure the screen is clean (microfiber works great) and keep it on a flat, immobile (desk, table) surface or tipped up slightly at the top if on a bed.

I used the screen lock and that helped. Also the screen automatically turns landscape when a program requires it even with the screen locked, so have not had any real issues that way.

I am not sure how to find the build...system settings?

Just got it off the last Woot special. Not upgraded it yet...waiting for the beta first. Use it mostly for work for now. Am really excited about all the mods being developed and ICS.

Thank you for even checking in Colchiro.

Assuming CM7/9, Settings... about tablet.... will tell you what it is.

If it's still webOS, you swipe up from the bottom to show apps and tap the last tab on the right (settings I think). System updates will tell you the version.

I certainly do....Can't wait until CM9 is out of Alpha. Figure no need to start on CM7 and two weeks later CM9 is done. Good till then.

It's dual boot. You have a boot menu to choose which one (CM or webOS) you want to boot into. Also, not much going on with CM7 any more so no reason to install that IMO. :D
