Screenshotit is a pretty good application. However, you have to be rooted to have it cooperate. This goes for all screenshot applications.

If you can get your hands on the apk Id use shootme(not on market anymore for some reason), unless I got a different version I dont like having to go through all the hassle of downloading apps to my pc just to take a sreen shot as is the case with screenshot it

That's what I use too. It's the "lite" version, although they call it "demo". But it keeps working. You can even set a timer -- so you have time to get exactly the shot you want, or you can choose to "shake" the phone to get the screen shot. There's lot of options in the the settings for how you want it to act.
