Help screen shot, battery question

Jewels45

Newbie
I cannot attach a screen shot but my screen is taking up 98% of my battery. Sorry if this is a stupid question but how do I fix this? Or is it just that I am using it all the time? I will try againto attempt attaching a screenshot. Okay well apparently I do not know how to add the screen shot I took. I only have a phone and no computer. Thanks.

Make sure you are not looking at the battery app right after the phone was charged. It resets the % when it is fully charged. So if you just unplug your phone and browse thru your email and stuff for 5 min, and check your battery, you will likely see 80% to 90% of it used on the screen. You should check it when the battery is mostly drained, and see your % used.

If you actually see 98% of battery used on Screen after the battery is mostly empty, something is wrong I think.

After doing a bit of research I think I may have figured this out. Since I have no life and have this screen on pretty much all day and night (sad, I know) that could be why my screen is taking up 98%.

Thanks Icneed. I will do that. I know the phone is fine because my previous Galaxy Nexus did the same thing. Ie; showing screen taking up the highest% battery.

2hr 29 min 29 sec and my battery percentage overall right now is 82% It used to be this way on my Galaxy Nexus too so I know both phones aren' defective
