Help Screen shots?

I hate to be the village idiot, but can someone tell me how to do screen shots without the digitizer. I have been using "screen write" to accomplish this task but volume down and power doesn't seem to be working for me.

Am I an idiot here missing something or is it not possible?

And finally , you can use your S Pen with Air Command and select Screen Wright. That actually takes a screen shot of the screen first and then you can add writing to it. But you don't have to. It's really just a screen shot. So click the check mark in the upper right corner to save it without any writing.

Many,many,many have this problem.As soon as I post that this gesture does indeed s***,someone else will say it's the best thing since sliced bread.

It works well for some.I can get it to work,but,most of the time,it takes several swipes to get it to work,Too much of a PITA,IMHO.

The power/home button combo seems to work well enough.Or,perhaps you can find an app in the GOOGLE PLAY STORE that will allow for a custom screenshot trigger that works best for you.
