Help screen stopped working

the other night i fell asleep on my couch and when i woke up my phone had migrated from the coffee table to the floor with the charger still attached. but when i went to unlock the phone the screen was nothing but white and green rows of pixels that would sometimes alternate. i took the phone apart to check the connections, as i had replaced the screen, glass, and digitizer moths back, and now i get nothing. any suggestions?

Time to replace again it would seem...unless you can find any connections broken loose.

i think i might've possibly ruined the connector though, because also when i replaced the screen the power button fell into the carpet and went missing. so i keep my frame screws out so i could pop the back off and manipulate the power button with a toothpick. just wish i could test a new screen first, lol. thanks anyways

also, do screens just go out like that? i had been getting some strange looking ripples in the graphics for weeks before this happened, but ive never had a screen just stop

i have a htc droid incredible, the phone comes on, all the buttens light up but the screen remains black. I dont know if the phone was rooted or not, it was given to me because it didnt have a battery, i orderd on from ebay. I have been reading these posts and have tried some of the solutions but none have worked yet. can anyone help me out?
