Help Screen timeout and Google Maps

I leave google maps running alot when driving for the traffic layer. How can I keep the screen from timing out after 1/2 hour (the max setting - The Hero had a never off setting)?

try downloading 'quicksettings' there's a setting in there for never on screen timeout. see if that works.

Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Stay awake

"Screen will never sleep when charging"

I presume that you plug your phone into the cigarette lighter power while driving, no?
