Help screen timeout

has anybody else experienced their screen NOT timing out (blacking out) i have the display timeout set for 30seconds but the screen wont blackout and continues to be illuminated.
any advice would be appreciated.

Try a battery pull. I'd also look to make sure it's not a setting in any apps. If all else fails do a hard reset

Same issue here! I thought it was tasker until I uninstalled it.

check any apps you recently installed. Some apps override the screen timeout and keep the screen on.

Make sure you are not in an active APP and back at the home screen when letting it time out.

I noticed that if I reset the device, it does in fact work. But after a while it begins to hang again and not turn off the screen. It may still be an app that is running rogue. I will report back if I find something.

Well mine is working again. Started working in the middle of an angry birds game

I just press my power button each time I put my phone away.
