Help Screen Timeout

The time interval that I select for Screen Timeout doesn't appear to matter- I always see a timeout of 45 seconds.
 
i just checked mine and it changed to 15 seconds when i selected it.

have you timed it? it seemed like mine was a few seconds off maybe.
