Root Screen timeout

Running cleanrom and I cannot change the screen timeout.

I go to settings, then display and its set to 30 seconds. Changed 100 times and somehow it always goes back to it. Very very very annoying.

Any know of a solution?
 
GBE or ICS, and which version? I know there was a screen timeout issue w/ earlier versions of GBE when WIFI was enabled, but was fixed sometime back in January.
