Root Screen turns on for a split second and turns back off

When I wake it from deep sleep, it flickers on and then turns back off, so I have to click the power button twice to wake it. It must be hardware related because it happens with all different roms including stock based. It happens even with apps that wake the screen, like the Handcent popup. Does anybody have any idea why it's doing this and/or how to fix it?

I found that issue also and adjusting the minimal clock speed to 368 seems to help a bit.

I was using an app to turn off the screen, and one I stopped using that and just used the power button to turn off the screen this problem went away.
