Help Screen washes out when waking up

I noticed yesterday that when I wake my MT up that the screen will be very faded. Has anyone else seen this on their MT? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Heres a side by side I took using my GT 10.1. The pics arent very good but you can at least see what I'm talking about. On the left is my MT when the screen is normal. On the right is the screen when messed up. Pressing the power button, waiting a few seconds and then pressing it again will clear up the problem.

Obviously, I'm rooted and have apps but even after bring my MT back to stock it still does this so its not being caused by something I did.

Ive seen this a couple of times on mine. Not seen it for awhile so Im assuming it wa some kind of app incompatability. This is the reason I took out the BB warranty plan - in case Im wrong...

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this were caused by one of the Apps I installed if it may have been caused by an update to one of those Apps. The last one I installed was AdjBrightness 3.7.3.3 so I reckon once I get home reinstall it and see what happens on my new MT. I swapped due to this issue and the non functioning GPS.

If I remember correctly, I was playing around with Juice Defender at the time. I no longer use JD - coincidence? I do know JD tries to optimize the screen brightness...

Happened to me once. Was using the auto-brightness feature in QuickSettings.


It's probably software related. Probably. -.-

I think it is a software thing, because if you turn screen off an on its fine.
