Root Screen went black???

So today my Ally may have died, hopefully not as there are still files, pics, music etc which I want to move off it. I did get a Droid 4 today and seems like a badazz phone. Anyway so my Ally will turn on as I can hear boot sound, and I am able to see the red LED notification bar lit up when its plugged in charging, but my screen is basically blank. Its a black color, but nothing what so ever is actually displayed. Any suggestions?

no suggestions sorry, but you realize you can put your micro sd card into an adapter and then into a reader for a computer. Both are very cheap. Or just stick it in the Droid4 and pull the files that way.

Hey thanks for taking the time to post a suggestion!...I didnt realize the D4 doesnt come with an SD card, so I was able to remove it and insert it in and there it is. I must say a phone which has flash and gingerbread is way nice. Thanks again to the devs for their work on the Ally!

Hey, way I glad I went with Spec instead of D4! I didnt realize how shitty the screen on it was til I got the Spec! You gonna root ur Spec? If you manually rooted your ally, you will be amazed at how easy it is to root and install CWM in Spec! Ive been talking to Rgocal trying to get some more ROM development going so keep your fingers crossed!

already rooted, I was the one to post Dan Rosenberg's method on this forum. 10 times easier than root the ally. I'm glad I looked into the Spectrum before my Ally blacked out. Such an awesome screen and the speed it always a plus.
