Help Screen will not rotate..

its stuck in the horizontal side. it will go on both sides but only horizontal. when i get on my facebook ap, it will not allow me to go vertical and same with the texting. how ever if i turn off my auto rotate it will go verticle. any suggestions?
 
that happened to me. it happened when i did a E-Compass Calibration test.
i did a factory reset and it worked. and when i did the test again it got stuck again.
so do a factory reset and just didnt do a E-Comapss Calibration test.
and so far no problems :)
 
i found out a way to fix this issue.

go to settings then display enable auto rotate then go to g sensor calibration then put the phone on a flat surface like a desk then hit calibrate. it works for me.....:):):):)
