Help screen will not turn off at night

I have the screen set to go off after a few minutes of inactivity, though it seems to dim but stay on all night. What setting do I need to adjust?

You need to go into settings and uncheck the box that say stay awake while plugged in for charging. It normally located near the usb debugging selection and the allow mocking section.

No, the problem is you plug it in, it turns on, you turn it OFF and then later it comes back on and stays on. My Razr had the same setting and would not stay on all night. I'm guessing a app is needed to remedy this as my Razr had that Moto whatever the blip it was called, specific to Moto that allowed you to set settings that turned the screen off, wifi on, etc etc if certain criteria were met. Come home, wifi turns on. After 9pm, calls are silenced, etc.
