Help Screen won't auto-rotate

New issue, for me anyway. This morning, my screen is stuck in landscape mode, unless I switch off auto-rotate in settings. I may have fallen asleep with it in my hand last night and dropped it, but at worst it fell about 2 feet onto carpet.I did try a battery pull, no change. Any thoughts out there? Thanks!

What happens if you switch off auto-rotate? Assuming the answer to that question is it returns to portrait-mode only, it sounds like your phone's accelerometer may be broken. If VZW can't fix/replace it, perhaps another short drop will jar it into working order again.
