Screen won't break

I dropped my S20 from waist height onto a stone patio yesterday. It bounce on three corners before lying flat on its face. No cracks, no scratches.

My daughter's S8 has been dropped so many times that there are pieces of glass missing in places and it still works, and even survives her using it in the rain (which surprises her). So whatever else I might say about Samsung (and they have had some major ethical issues) I have to admit that they can make a robust phone ;).

Smear it on a scratch, wipe it off and the scratch dissappears.

I don't know about those- sounds like a 3AM Billy Mays advertisement that wakes you up.

Anyway, a friend once had a set of glass polishing compunds in multiple grits that would eventually buff out a scratch.

I have heard, but not tested, that baking soda mixed with water or toothpaste can also work, but my guess is that they would work best on plastic screens.

I had a Samsung one torment with no offense to the phone manufacturers! THEN he did not turn on, then the screen flashed and I bought a redmi and am enjoying life now!
