Hey all,
I've recently had a problem with my captivate. Sometimes when I go to unlock my phone, the touch screen won't recognize any touch at all. I can't put in the pattern to unlock, I can't press "Emergency Call", and if I hold down the power button to get the "Silent Mode/Flight Mode/Power Off" pop-up I can't press any of them either. If would assume this is a problem with the hardware, but a) this problem only happens on the lock screen and b) it doesn't happen all the time, so I figure it has got to be something else. The only solution I've found is to do a battery pull, but doing that once a day is not something I'd like to continue.
Has anyone else had this problem, or know of any solutions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
