Does anyone know how to take a screenshot on this phone w/o an app or rooting? I saw a video on YouTube where someone demonstrated taking a screen shot on his phone by pressing the Home and Back buttons simultaneously. That doesn't seem to work on this phone. Does anyone have a suggestion for taking screenshots?

As of right now, the only way is root for this phone.

Either that or get control of it, through DDMS, part of the Android SDK. That process is a bit difficult though I remember doing it on the Samsung Intercept, but it also requires you be connected to a PC with ADB running.

I say root it and put the screenshot app on that baby Rooting itself (and cwm) doesn't effect the phone performance or create issues in my experience.

Rooting can be mildly hazardous to the uninitiated, though. FWIW I would recommend at least a vision recovery first, no matter what phone you're talking about.

And also FWIW setting up DDMS is a pain, but that's basically what the app No Root Screenshot It does.
