Root Script?

This is a newbie question....big time.... What is scripting, or "a script," I don't even know what to call it. I've heard about "Viperboy's scripts" and I want to know what that means because apparently they make your device faster and give it more battery life.

Nothing like this exists for the incredible.

All those types of mods are done by flashing files in recovery or just changing kernels.

Edit: does seem these scripts should work on any Android device, not really sure how effective they would be, it does give you more control but most kernels are already tweeked for optimum results.

A lot of these mods have a high probability of putting you in a boot loop or being very unstable. The incredible's processor is not very customizable.
