Help scroll horizontally in apps screen?

[gilbum]

I was in a store the today playing with an Evo 3d, and I couldn't seem to get the apps screen to scroll horizontally, just vertically. Is there an option to change this? It would make a modest difference in my choice of phones.

Thx
