Root SD card brands?

yeah yeah so this probably isnt the right place for this question on the Forum, but I only want opinions from my Prevail brothers (and sisters) so shoot me :D

Brands? Does it matter really? Of course I'm not gonna get an ebay brand 123 from some country I cant pronounce or spell, So.... San Disk, Dane electric, Duracell, etc? I'm looking at ones online from Walmart. Does it really matter? Or any card from a half ass name brand that has at least been heard of before is going to work the same?

I'm looking for a 16Gig Class 10 card BTW.

Thanks!! :)

I've always used San Disk and I haven't had a problem with them yet. I have an 8gig class 4 running in my phone right now but I'm looking to upgrade to a 16 soon.

I have several Sandisks and a Patriot. I am happy with them both . You pretty much can't go wrong with a Sandisk . I've got several of them for my camera and computers and I've never had 1 of them fail on me .

This is the first Patriot I've ever had and so far it's working great . You'll pretty much pay top dollar for a Sandisk but the Patriot is a little bit cheaper . I found the one I'm running in my phone on the New Egg site . It's a 16g class 10 and I paid $20 with $10 rebate which I just got back in the mail the other day . $10 is a GREAT price for a 16g class 10 . :D

I usually swear by Sandisk, but a few weeks ago I picked up a 16 g.b. class 10 PNY at Best Buy for a steal. They had accidentally marked it down to $10 and put it in the clearance bin. The same exact card was not even 12 feet over from the bin for $25.

HAHA! You gotta love them Best Buy "specialists" LMAO....

I'm using a16gb pny class 10, and i find it laggy running /data on ext... Not very happy with it... I do not recommend pny

All I buy is Sandisk or PNY. Since I got my Prevail in Sept Ive been using a San16gb class4. No problems and the speed is good to me. I dont see a real need to upgrade to class10.

On a side note, about Best Buy messing up prices, a few years ago I went to buy a 5.1 speaker setup for my PC. They accidently put a $39.99 price tag(the ones on display below the product on the shelves) on a 5.1 Klipsch system. It rang up at $229.99 I think. Told the cashier it says 40bucks on the shelf. They checked and had to sell it to me for 39.99. The manager took the sign away with the quickness:D
