Help SD Card corrupt - had to reformat

I have SD damaged when I try to transfer files via sd card transfer from the pc to the card and other attempts have failed. I have reformatted so many times it's not funny. I am not even using the 8GB card that came with it either. When I look at the card it shows the files as gibberish and odd characters so corrupt.

I am loading a lot of videos and tried one at a time and still errors. I have double twist, songbird and double twist is so slow that it is taking hours to transfer video. This seems more of a software issue or something is going on.

Cards go bad - might want ot use another card.

Also, the DROID came with a 16 GB card, not 8....

I need some help. I have a Droid X and a 32g scandisk card. I began adding music to it and only some music transferred over. I coldny figure out why. I right clicked on the card, and then chose properties, and it shows the capacity of the card at like 2.something G???? What the heck would cause that? And I am not talking about the available capacity, but the entire capacity. The available is 0 now.

I had a Damaged SD Card (must reformat) today on my MOTO 2.2 phone after installing RingLet and downloading a few ringtones. During the launch of RingLet it stopped responding. I removed the card from the phone and used a card reader on a Windows machine to run chkdsk and the card no longer gives me a "damaged" error but some files were lost. OK Google - what's up wit dis?

Similar issue. Was transferring a lot of files over to my phone from my computer. They transferred alright but soon after, I got an error message stating I had a damaged sd... Phone is 8 months old, very few complaints until now.

I had a LOT of problems with my HTC Inspire Android Mini SD Card, no matter how many times I formatted it or tried to fix it. All my problems went away when I got a new card.

Has anyone experienced an corrupted SD card with their Droid? I was listening to a podcast through Listen while navigating home and the battery was getting low. But, I was nearly home so I figured it would make it. Well, it didn't. When I plugged it in it powered up and I got an error about a corrupt SD card needing a format. I removed and re-seated the card (after shutting down the phone, natch) but that didn't help. I popped it into a PC to try to do a scandisk, but the PC couldn't read it either.

So, I did indeed format the card. All is well so far, but it's disconcerting that this would happen after only a few days.

Hello friend!
In order to get rid of your camera memory card issue format the card and use either a backup file or a powerful undelete memory card to recover the lost data.
