Help SD Card Issue

Newbie
So, I'm still using the 2 GB card that came with my Inc, but I've been having a problem. Every once in a while some of the games that I have installed will not work. Their icons change to that default android icon and they force close whenever I try to open them. When I checked to see why this was happening I realized that it only happened to games that were installed on the SD card. So, I moved them all to my phone's memory and the problem was solved. However, every once in the problem happens again and when I check the apps, they have reverted back to being stored on the card. I'm not sure what exactly is going on. Any ideas? I'm rooted running Cyanogen if that makes a difference.

Also, I'm looking to buy a 16 GB card. Does it need to be a specific class and where would be the best place to buy it? Thanks for the help in advance!

I've read that the class of sd card is not a factor for the phone. I'm sure if you search the forum you will find a number of discussions about this. I'd do some free reading prior to a purchase. You might read something that will sway you one way or another.
The games reverting back to the sd card is likely how the games are written. When you update they likely default back to the sd storage. Most things are written to utilize the sd storage.
There are a number of likely reasons the programs aren't running on your old sd card. They are so cheap now.. and if you are looking to replace anyway.. I'd get that new card and all will likely be solved.
