Help SD card issue

So I'm having a problem with my esteem. whenever I connect my esteem to my computer be it with USB, airdroid or doubletwist it only recognizes the internal 4gb sd card and not my 32gb card. this is a major issue for me because I'm constantly managing my music and I cant access it without switching the sd card into my brothers tablet. any ideas?

What kind of computer do you have?

What happens if you plug the SD card into your computer?

Does the USB Debugger pop up on your phone?

1. 2011 Asus ET24

2. I cant plug it in without a device (no micro sd adapter) but it is only not recognized when in the esteem and it works on my brothers galaxy tab as well as my old admire.

Is it possible that your computer sees the internal memory and the sd card as one drive?

There are USB debugging tools that might pop up on your Esteem and your computer, I wish I knew how to tell you to activate them manually but I don't.

Did you try all the drive letters that show up in Explorer?

Unless you pull the cop down box down and select USB connection then choose between charge only, mass storage, or internets connection mode the phone won't do anything. But if debugging automatic ones up then you probably at one point in time oh unchecked the box to always ask. I think you need to go into connectivity in the settings and check the always ask box.
