SD card issues

Ok, so all of the sudden today. None of my contacts were showing up when they were messaging me. So i looked and for some reason I unmounted my SD card from my phone. Well see the only problem is that i have no idea how to "re-mount" it to my phone. The only options thus far are to format the sd card, and we all know i don't want to do that. Any ideas? Hopefully it's something simple.
