Hello people!
I have a very serious problem with my xperia x8. I've been using a Sandisk 16GB micro sd card for 3-4 months now. But yesterday, a notification suddenly popped saying that I must re-format and delete all the files!
In this sd card I have some reaaaally old files from previous mobiles that I MUST not delete, and I know that I am so fool that I didn't copy them to pc before.

And when I connect it with pc it says the same, I have to reformat it and lose all the files! I desperately need help to save the precious files! I thought of using a recovering file software but I think they only work if you delete a file, not format a hard disk...
I know that this is a repost, but I haven't found any thread that people want to actually keep their files and find a solution for it... I really need help!
Thank you in advance!

Remove the SD card and try it on the PC with a card reader.
So you might be able to copy the SD card to the PC :)

Eeeh, I can't find that site and can't really understand you..

I still need help guys, please..

It seems that the sd card is corrupted. It could be infected by virus, you can scan the SD card with some anti-virus software, try following free ones
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-SG/windows/security-essentials-download
http://free.avg.com

If the sd card is not shown as a drive letter in computer, you may go to device manager and then assign a drive letter to the sd card, see this guide

If still have problem, you may follow this step by step guide which is about how to fix sd card which shows not formatted message and recover data from unformatted sd card

Hope that you can get back files you needed.

I suppose you still need help ? actually, my xperia Lt26i has the same problem before and Lt26i has internal memory, I got a much more difficult situation than yours.
you should try to google a SD card repair or something, try to repair the SD card. although it is not very likely to fix it.
And Second Solution is, format it and use a recovery software after you format the SD card, but first, I don't know if anyone told you yet, you should stop using your Xperia as possible as you can, cause if the SD card keep writting files into your SD card, the deleted files will possibly become unrecoverable.
There are many recovery softwares if you search in google, you can search with the words"Android Phone Recovery" ( as Xperia is using Android ) that should come out with reliable software in the first page. Choose you like and get your treasure recovered.
Doubt the op still needs help ;) He/she hasn't been back in over 2-1/2 years.
As such, I'm closing this thread.
