Root SD Card Partition but apps still on internal memory

I used rom manager to partition my SD card so I could use Ginger Villian to move my apps to my SD card but they apps still save to internal memory and not my SD card, any answers would be great.
 
You just dont understand it. read the apps2sd+ FAQ in my sig please. All your answers are here.
 
Even when you have it set to move to SD (app2sd+), parts stay on internal in order to run.
 
Are the apps really stored on internal memory or does the phone just say they are?

That's the whole point of A2SD ..... fooling the phone into thinking the app is somewhere where it isn't. Get Quick System Info for the truth.

A bit of both.
 
I am at work so can't always reply straight away, I understand SUroot how to read your sig which I have done, I checked on the memory status and it said I had 24Mb which leads me to think the apps are not on the SD card.

Plus no need to be so rude is there, saying I don't understand this forum is too help not be rude when someone needs help
 
quick system info shows the a2sd partition but when I downloaded pulse reader which is 2Mb my internal memory went down by 2Mb aswell.
 
By saying you don't understand I was merely pointing it out. Was trying to help. Not being rude

As per the faq, apps always install to internal memory

At work so don't always have time to type things out twice
 
How big does qsi say the partition is? How much is being used?

Did you move dalvik cache to sd as per the faq and first post of gingervillain thread?
 
No I haven't moved the dalvik cache to the SD yet, and I am not sure where the gingervillain thread is, the partition is over 400Mb
