SD card partitioned with ext3

Has anyone managed to get the Desire to work with a card partitioned in ext3 on the Desire? I have a 16GB card on which I have just a single ext3 partition and it used to work with my Samsung Galaxy. When I however try to use it with the Desire it doesn't recognise the card and just says "Card has been removed". I had to partition it to FAT32 to make it work. So has anyone managed to get ext3 working?

(I'm running stock T-Mobile ROM, no root, just stock)

Hi Martino,
Did you do anything in particular to get the ext formatted card work on your galaxy? coz i've been trying to do the same for long.. but no luck..

Hundreds on here and on xda are running ext3 partitions on their desires. Got a 1 gig partition myself built using gparted.

All I can suggest is to recreate the partition.

Same here, for well over a year with no problems. Gparted is the way to go.
