Help SD Card Problem on Droid X?

So, I have been having SD card issues. I like to take photos with Vignette and it frequently has issues saving to the SD card. Additionally, I record video sometimes and the video either doesnt save, partially saves, or becomes corrupt.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

I am new to troubleshooting a phone, so I dont know what kind of information you need from me...

Does it say the card doesn't exist when you try to save? I know when I replaced my original with a 10 class PNY, that was happening frequently. I think it's too high a speed for the X to handle; it kept having spazz fits where programs claimed the card didn't exist when it bloody well did. When that happened I usually had to unmount then remount it, or reboot the phone, and it would work again.

(I'm also currently replacing it with a Sandisk 4 class. Ugh. $44 down the drain...)

Vignette gives me an error that says it couldnt write to it, and that I should restart the phone. The video capture gives me no error, it just either works or it doesnt... and the worst part is, is that the phone acts like it is still recording video and i wont find out until i finished the recording.

Everything about the phone is still stock, its not rooted or anything.
