Help sd card problem

new too android so if this is something basic im doing wrong i appoligise in advance.

i just went to copy some pictures from my pc too my dhd ive plugged the usb into my pc and its recognising it as removable disk e. i thought it would just be a case of clicking on the files and dragging them to removable disc e but when i go to drop the files onto this it says please insert a drive into disk e. what am i doing wrong

Make sure that your USB connection type is 'Disk Drive'. On other settings, Windows still recognises it as a removable disk but it is not a proper disk drive.

To get to the settings, go to Settings -> Connect to PC

You can change the default to Disk Drive if you want. Mine defaults to Charge Only.
