so ive been using a 16gb samsung card since i got the phone. and a few days ago i used mass storage mode on my xbox 360. it formatted my sd card. and so to get my phone to reconize it. i had to format it through 4ext. but now it says its a 5gb sd card. anyone know whats up. ive formatted fat 32 and the other 2 parts of it...

It's probably because the file system format that changed when the Xbox formated it . You will need to use your p.c or your phone to reformat it. But if it somehow got partioned then I'm unsure.

Chances are that a partition was created by the xbox. Put it in the computer and use a free partition manager to delete the partition you don't want, the reformat to whatever format you want it to be.

Just use it on the Xbox again. Select options on it and click delete Xbox 360 storage. That will free it back up to 16gb. Next time if you want to use it for 360 storage as well SD your phone you should be able too use the customize option which allows you to select how much you want used for 360 storage. :]
