Help SD Card Removed Message

My wife's Lucid has on several occasions displayed a message about the SD Card being removed, however it had not. Any suggestions on what is going on?

I get the same notification if I am plugged into the pc but unplug and it is gone...

I'd recommend the same thing as LickeyMong... back up any files you have on your SD card and reformat it using your phone (settings > storage > unmount SD card > erase SD card). Let us know if that helps or not.

Also, perhaps check to make sure that the card is firmly pushed in. It may have not been inserted correctly or it may have been knocked loose.

On the advice of a Lucid using Verizon Store employee, I removed the card and wiped down the contacts with a little alcohol and put it back and have not had the message since (about 2 weeks now). If it does come back I will reformat it using the phone. Thank you all.
