i just saw on my notification bar that my sd card was blank or had unsupported files...? now before i do a reformat, my phone does an automatic backup daily, will this save my files on my phone?

What kind of backup does it make?

Do you back up to the SD card? If you do, do you copy the backup to your computer?
If the first is no, you're safe. If it's yes and the second is yes, you're safe.
Otherwise you'll lose your files.
Any file it's important to keep should be backed up to at least two different devices (one of which can be a cloud storage account).

ok, well i tried to format it and it just said "blank sd card"...am i screwed? this is the same card i had in my droid x for almost 3 years
