SD card suddenly removed

This has only started to happen over the last few weeks.

I find an icon in the notifications and on invesigating it says "SD card suddenly removed".

It seems to happen randomly and is a bit of a PITA as the phone is in a silicon case which has to be removed before I can take the back of the phone and press the card back in.

It's a Lexar 8gb card, which I put in the phone when I got it several months back.

Anyone else getting this problem?

I've never heard of this happening spontaneously, so you may have a faulty card socket.

If it occurs again, and the the card is securely inserted and locked, I suggest you look at getting it replaced/repaired under warranty.
