Help Sd card will not mount

Hello. I have the wifi only tab 2 10.1 today my sd card showed as not mounted. I went to check it and sure enough it was not "clicked" in. Now the card will not "click" in, and stay in. I push it in and hear the click but then pops right back out... any suggestions
 
Looks like mechanical problem, so find out the culprit, is it the tablet or the SD card?
Hope that it isn't the tablet and try another SD card first.

When you push the card in, do you also nudge it up/down so that it seats properly? I know, obvious, but always start with the simple solutions first.
 
Thank you for the suggestions. I think its the tablet. I mounted the sd card in my wife's tablet and it clicked right in. Meh oh well I guess :(
 
Btw this was my first post, but have been stalking the forum for a few months now. Been reading up on custom roms and "all things root" working up the courage to try it. This wifi onry tab has way to much junk apps. Also looking in to the mobile pay as you go hotspot walmart sells. Again thank you
