So heres the story in a nutshell,

I bought a seagate free agent external hard drive with 1.5 terabytes for my friends ps3 and mine so we could upload movies and music and whatever to the ps3s or anyones ps3 or laptop for that matter. The Playstations would not read the format so i needed to change it to one the ps3 could read. Well i was real stupid and didnt pay attention to what drive the hard drive was connected to and long story short i formatted the sd card on my phone and in the process i wiped the contents of the card, everything was erased but the thing is it LOOKS LIKE only my pics music and videos were erased because my phone is fully functional and my processor is a little faster too lol. Even though i checked and it says the sd card is blank. i have all my music videos and pics on my laptop so i already put those back on my phone so i was wondering if anyone can explain this? why did my phone not crash bc i had a custon rom and kernel and all these files on my sd card? Should i be worried do i need to add certain files to it so it wont crash later or do i just need to leave it alone? Or were the important files ust temporary ones that my phone didnt need anymore? Sorry i wrote a lot but was just curious about this... Respond on your spare time this isnt an emergency or anything. Thanks guys!!!!

your phone will still run fine even if you take out the sd card. it does not need the sd card to run. it does need the card to put any saved data and such onto the card.
