Help sd card wont mount..but its mounted

everyyyy time i download a rom i get waiting for sd card to mount sd card wont mount and then it reboots into clockworkmod recovery...what do i do ?

I have the same exact problem , I dont know when it exactly started though, is there something that can be pulled from an older ROM backup to restore or a file that I can pull from another phone.. It will only mount through clockwork as stated above

best bet for the both of you is to copy the contents of the card to your phone, and then format full format, not a quick format) in Windows.

Then put it in the DROID, let it build what it needs and then copy your files back.
