Help SD-card wont mount!?? read only mode

Hey, i suddently run into this problem. My desire was feeling little slow today so i rebooted and now it says "The SD card has an unexpected problem" and wont mount it. it says SD card in read only mode. Tried rebooting again, took battery and sd card off but the problem stays. is the SD card damaged or what should i do?

E: tried SD card on other computer and it worked fine. Seems like software issue orsumthin
