SD Card

I received a notification on my HTC eris that "phone storage space is getting low" so I went to SD card section & ACCIDENTALLY "unmounted" my SD card.......now it won't let me do anything but "format sd card", which will erase all of my pictures!! HELP!!!

Do you see an option anywhere about remounting the SD card?

Thanks for welcoming me....the only option I see is to format card which would erase everything....do I need to remove the card & start again??

If there is no mount option where you found the unmount option, I would suggest putting the card in your computer and seeing if the computer will read it. If yes backup the entire card and then format in your phone if you have to. This way after you format you can just copy all the data right back to the card.

Also what phone do you have? We can point you to the section for your specific device.

I'm afraid I'm not seeing a lot of activity in your devices section, but you could try asking here in the Android Lounge section where you'll have a better chance and more eyes there.
