Help sd card

When you buy the new SD card it will be fat32. To save yourself a lot of hassle if you simply put it in your phone and format it from you phone, your phone will format it with the right filesystem.
 
I tried using NTFS as suggested in several other areas that I found before upgrading to the new card.
I went from stock 2GB to a new 32GB.
I formatted it on my pc to ntfs, copied everything from the 2GB to the new 32gb card & the new card won't mount now??
The contents can be seen on my Win7 laptop though..

Should I format it back to fat & leave it at that? I wanted the Pros of ntfs tho...

you might have to.
the hydro uses "fat" file systemfor the sd card as does linux itself i think.
i don't know if linux will "see" a ntfs drive. don't have that much knowhow with linux.

I've found that fat or fat32 is the best way to go when it comes to android just try to get a class 10 that will make a difference I just picked up a sandisk 8gb micro sdhc exteme pro class 10 UHS-1 it has 90mbs transfer rate.

am i right about linux useing "fat" file system?
not real sure about anything about linux.lol
